How to calculate PTR? Formula to Find PTR
To calculate the PTR first we have to calculate MRP excluding GST.
Formula to Calculate MRP excluding GST is
MRP excluding GST = (MRP x 100) / (100 + GST %)
P.T.R Excluding GST = (above value) – (above Value x Retailer %)
How to calculate PTS? Formula to Find PTS
P.T.S excluding tax = PTR value – Stockiest %
Example
Suppose,
MRP = 125, Retail% = 20%, Stockist % = 10%, GST% = 12 %
MRP excluding GST = (MRP x 100) / (100 + GST %)
= (125 x 100) / (100 + 12) = 111.61
P.T.R Excluding GST = (above Value) – (above Value x Retailer %)
= (111.61) – (111.61 x 20%)
= 89.29
P.T.S excluding tax = PTR value – Stockiest %
= 89.29-10%
= 80.36
